As the summer drew to a close, Táilte Tours volunteers remained busy into the early Autumn, with not one, but two 'Bus Substitution' railtours taking in two of Ireland's long-lost railway lines.

We paid another visit to our friends at the Cavan & Leitrim Railway Museum, Dromod, on Sunday 9th August. This was the "Dromod Diesel Daytripper" Mini Railtour.

Our first Dublin-based tour of 2026 took place on Sunday, 19th April: "The North West Frontier—A Mini Railtour".
