SOLD OUT Join us for a special day out to the Cavan & Leitrim Railway. We will travel to Dromod on the 13:05 Dublin Connolly-Sligo diesel service train to visit the Cavan & Leitrim Railway, with steam & diesel train rides on the historic narrow gauge railway.

Steam or diesel? How about both?
Join us for a special day out to the Cavan & Leitrim Railway. on Sunday 19th April. We will travel to Dromod on the Iarnród Éireann 13:05 Dublin Connolly-Sligo service train. At Dromod we disembark to for a special afternoon of narrow gauge loco haulage at the Cavan & Leitrim Railway.
Both steam and diesel haulage will feature, including the line's resident 1905 Avonside tank engine "Nancy". Normally, one loco is used for the day, but for our visit, we'll be swapping engines so that participants can also sample Bord na Móna diesel haulage. (As with any tour, this is all subject to locomotive availability on the day).
After a fun afternoon, we head back to Dublin on the 18:07 service train, for an arrival back by 20:24.
