The 800 class or B1a class were a fleet of 3 4-6-0  steam locomotives built by the Great Southern Railways in Inchicore Works, Dublin, between 1939 and 1940. They were named Maedbh, Macha and Táilte, and hauled express trains on the Dublin-Cork railway line. The badge depicts one of these locomotives in late 1940s/1950s CIÉ green livery.
