Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the merger of the Great Southern & Western Railway, the Midland Great Western Railway and the Cork, Bandon & South Coast Railway into the Great Southern Railway in November 1924.

For fans of GM EMD locomotives this is a rare chance to experience 201 class haulage on the Limerick and Kerry lines, which these days are usually the preserve of railcar units.

The train will be formed of mkIV express carriages, and will be the first ever time a set has travelled into Limerick with passengers.
