About the event
With thanks to Vintage Trains, Táilte Tours CLG are delighted to offer tickets on their forthcoming mainline railtour, "The Cathedrals Express", which is operating from Coleshill Parkway, Warwickshire, to Edinburgh using a combination of diesel and steam traction. The steam leg from Darlington to Edinburgh is booked to be hauled by 'new build' Peppercorn Pacific loco No.60163 "Tornado", using the Vintage Trains set of 1960s carriages.
We have secured a limited number of tickets for Táilte Tours customers.
Coleshill Parkway is approximately 45 minutes from Birmingham Airport by rail or 20 minutes by car.
Please note that customers will need to make their own way to Coleshill Parkway or Tamworth as we are not in a position to offer transfers or accommodation.
The special is scheduled to depart Coleshill Parkway at 06:30, returning for 22:40. The tour also picks ip at Tamworth at 06:40.
