About the event
In support of the DCDR/ITG diesel running day at Downpatrick, our volunteers have organised a direct bus connection from Dublin (Connolly Luas stop) to Downpatrick for the day. Please note that this ticket is for the bus only and does not include entry to the railway, which must be purchased at https://www.downrail.co.uk/event/summer-diesel/
This bus will run direct from Dublin to Downpatrick (and back) and offers a quicker, hassle-free alternative to travelling by regular public transport links and their associated changes.
Dept. Connolly Luas stop, Dublin 1, at 09:15, back for 19:00.
For those of you not attending the Diesel Day, you will have approximately 4.5 hours to explore the town of Downpatrick, the last resting place of Ireland's patron saint, at your leisure.
Tickets are strictly non-refundable.
As we are a voluntary organisation we cannot accept social welfare/OAP free travel passes.

Valid on the Táilte Tours CLG bus charter from Connolly Luas stop, Dublin to Downpatrick, and return, on Saturday 23rd August 2025 Only. Strictly non-refundable. This ticket does not cover travel on the Downpatrick & County Down Railway, tickets for which must be booked seperatley.
